I am a fourth year PhD candidate in Robotics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor advised by Katie Skinner. I am primarily interested in making search and inspection more efficient for field robots. During the summer of 2023, I spent time at the Acoustics Division, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, DC working with James McMahon on active perception and path planning for large area surveys using AUVs. I was an intern at Skydio as an Autonomy Engineer Intern on the Deep Learning team for summer 2024.
My undergraduate studies were in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Carnegie Mellon University. At CMU, I performed research in the field of Social Navigation with Jean Oh. I was also on the CMU Robosub team: TartanAUV, where I wrote pipelines for object detection and tracking for a custom built AUV. I enjoyed being on the leadership team for Build18, a unique hardware hackathon.
